"Goldfish Fantasy Trilogy" | Exhibition Recommendation

Goldfish Escape from Goldfish Street?

Recently, a vibrant group of small goldfish made their way from Mong Kok's "Goldfish Street" to Langham Place, several hundred meters away. Their mission? To spread the auspiciousness and happiness they symbolize to the public.

Local print artist and tattooist Lee Ning has created a multi-layered mural titled "Goldfish Fantasy Trilogy," which is showcased at Hong Kong's first goldfish art experience center, "Joyful Fish Year." Through depictions of the goldfish's dreamy daily life and joyful moments, the artwork reminds viewers to cherish the fleeting beautiful moments in life.

The backdrop, made up of goldfish scales, immerses visitors in the goldfish's fantastical journey, allowing them to forget the passage of time. Within the shimmering experience center, there's an interactive installation called "Swimming Fish Game." Visitors can write down their worries, and the legendary "magic" of the goldfish's memory—said to last only seven seconds—will allow them to briefly enjoy the carefree life of a small, worry-free goldfish.
